It was a warm sunny, dry day on Saturday resulting in a large turnout of 16 for the usual afternoon jaunt.
We had four new blokes along to sample our trails and our company - poor b*ggers! ;-)
We hit the nearest woods with the singletrack still bone dry. I got plenty of stick for my leadership towards the end for repeating trails. It was probably fair to be honest. I wasn't having an inspired day and my mind was elsewhere.
Usually a large group guarantees plenty of hanging about for mechanicals or punctures but it went pretty smoothly except for losing Why Aye Chris off the back towards the end.
Guess we'll find out what the new lads thought of us by whether or not they turn up again?
