Another Saturday afternoon ride and more new bikes! Looks like our lot are spending the country out of this recession? ;) Ricky was taking his new Boardman hardtail for it's maiden voyage and Jamie was having a shakedown ride on an Orange Alpine before taking it to the mountains it was designed for and named after.
Ten of us set off from The Bridge over "Pudding Back" to start; with the usual intention of ending up at The Vol for a beer after a couple of hours. The plan came together with us doing a big loop out to Southwell and then back along the Trent from Fiskerton. This week everyone had a bit more urgency about them and unlike last week it was a "proper" ride at a pretty decent pace.
We only had one at The Vol and there was a race back to The Bridge just to finish us off - well me anyway! A good summer afternoon.
